Loughborough is at the heart of England in the most northern part of the county of Leicestershire – being centrally placed it is well served by road, rail and air.

Travelling by car

Loughborough’s nearest motorway link is the M1; the campus is just two miles from Junction 23. The University is clearly signed on all the other main approach roads to Loughborough. Please enter using the West entrance.

Loughborough is the largest single-site campus in the U.K and parking for the event will be located in the Multi Storey and Hollywell Car parks on campus. To enter the car parks please use Hollywell Way entrance off Ashby Road (A512). It will take an estimated 15 minutes to walk from the event car parks to the sports venues or alternatively a park and ride shuttle bus service will be in operation with accessible bus’s running every 7 minutes.

Travelling by train

Regular Intercity services operate between Loughborough and other main line towns – including daily trains to and from London St Pancras International, 90 minutes away.

Once at Loughborough’s railway station you are just ten minutes away from the campus. From here there is a regular bus service which operates every ten minutes.

Taxis are normally available from the station and the journey should cost around £5 – £6.

East Midlands Airport is only 7 miles away and offers both domestic and international flights.
