For those joining us as part of a school group, the below is designed to answer any questions you may have:

Do school groups receive a discount?

Yes, if you are Youth Sport Trust member school or signed up to the School Games, you can receive an 80% discount per ticket. For bookings for school groups of under 25 people please use discount code 2016SGYST and book your tickets direct through www.ticketsource.co.uk/2016schoolgames

What if we want to order more than 25 tickets?

To help make group bookings easier, schools are asked to download and complete the school group booking form (available at www.2016schoolgames.com/tickets . This way your tickets will be booked by a member of the School Games team and your school will be invoiced directly.

Can we buy tickets to more than 1 session?

Absolutely. The School Games is designed to showcase youth sport and inspire the next generation of young athletes therefore we would actively encourage you to make the most out of your day and spectate at a morning and after session.

We are arriving in a minibus where do we park?

There is designated parking for school mini buses and you will be directed to site when you arrive onto campus. Our team will be ready to welcome you and point you in the direction of all the action! Please use the Hollywell Way entrance leading off Ashby Road.

Is there a dedicated space to eat packed lunches onsite?

Yes, the School Games Spectator Zone is designed for just that. With dedicated space to eat, plus lots of activities happening across the event we would encourage you to build this into your plan for the day.

What is happening at the Spectator Zone for schools?

Across the Friday and Saturday a full programme of activities and entertainment will be taking place. A full programme will be published closer to the event, but key school highlights include:

  • Meet and greet with Dan Freedman, author of Unstoppable
  • Cultural performances
  • Nutrition zone
  • JAE Stars – an insight into physical challenges and fitness testing
  • Q&A with athlete mentors
  • Packed lunch and picnic area
